The 4-day / 3-night program in Puerto Maldonado starts at US$421 per person for 2 or more travelers staying at Corto Maltés Amazonía or a similar lodge. Solo travelers and other lodges, such as Inkaterra, have different rates. Short excursions start at US$60.
Land and river transfers (airport – lodge – airport), lodge accommodation, guided excursions with entrance tickets, and all meals: 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 3 dinners. Flights, travel insurance and personal expenses are not included.
On Lake Sandoval you can see howler monkeys, caimans and giant river otters, and at the clay lick, colorful parrots. Many other bird species live along the Madre de Dios River.
