- Walk around one of the biggest commercial areas in Lima and the China Town.
- Visit Lima’s Main Square considered as Human Cultural Heritage since 2000.
- Explore Peru’s gastronomy and flavors.
- Move around the city as a local using public transportation.
Don’t miss the experience of taking the Peruvian public transportation on the way to the center of Lima and visit one of the most traditional taverns in the city.
During this excursion you will taste the Peruvian gastronomy and discover why it’s famous around the world. This is a great combination of history, culture and food in the same tour.
We decided to create this activity around Lima to make you feel, see and taste the city on a non traditional way.
You are going to meet your Travel Buddy at Terrua coffee shop at 9:30 am. Our friends from Terrua will give us a small taste of their “specialty coffee”. You want to know what a specialty coffee is? Come and join us, the aromas and their passion about coffee will make you want to come back.
After powering ourselves with the best coffee you can find in the city it’s time to go to Lima’s Historical Centre. On the way, your Travel Buddy will make you experience public transportation. During the 25 minute ride there will be time to share stories and information about Lima.
Peruvians love food and we are proud of our gastronomy, but food is not only about sitting in a restaurant. With us you are going to explore the central market and the Chinatown tasting different flavors, fruits that you don’t see in other places, traditional drinks and desserts, some delicacy with Peruvian and Chinese influence, etc.
After all that food it’s good to walk a bit! Let’s go around the Parliament Palace, take some pictures and continue our way to “the Plaza Mayor” considered Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. Around this famous plaza you are going to try the best “churros” and of course the Peruvian national drink: Pisco Sour.
At the end and before taking the bus back to Terrua your Travel Buddy is going to take you to a local “Menu place” to try Papa a la Huancaina, a delicious combination of Peruvian potatoes and a yellow chili creamy sauce .
Around 2pm we should arrive in Miraflores after a morning full of flavors and history.

"Communicating with Cesar was effortless as he was very prompt in his replies and accommodating with my last minute requests. We had Pablo as our tour guide and Pablo didn’t disappoint. He was passionate and knowledgable of the places we went and thankfully.I’ll definitely recommend this tour to everyone else in Lima who wants a fully guided experience to interesting places like Callao"
"This tour was awesome! Cesar was very welcoming and enhanced our stay in Lima. My girlfriend and I joined another tourist on the night time tour that included the Magic Water Circuit, street food, adult beverages, historic sites, and trendy bars. It was a unique and fun way to get to know the city. Cesar was very friendly and professional. Recommend!"
